‘Hope in Bloom’ is a deeply personal artwork created to mark two years of being cancer free, a quiet celebration of resilience, healing, and renewed life. Daffodils were chosen as the central motif for their timeless symbolism of hope, rebirth, and perseverance after hardship.
Within the composition, some daffodils are slow to emerge, honouring the patience and courage required during times of illness and recovery. Others are gently detached from their stems, symbolising freedom – the release from fear, limitation, and the past, and the reclaiming of one’s spirit after adversity.
The artwork is thoughtfully embellished with clear quartz crystals and prehnite gemstones, each selected for their healing qualities.
Clear quartz, often known as the master healer, is believed to amplify energy, clarity, and intention while supporting balance and emotional renewal. Prehnite is associated with heart-led healing, inner peace, and trust – a stone linked to restoring harmony between mind and body during times of transformation.
This piece forms part of an ongoing Daffodil Series, with each artwork uniquely created to honour stories of strength, survival, and hope. No two works are ever the same, reflecting the individuality of every healing journey.
Commissions are welcomed for this series, inviting collectors to participate in a meaningful creative process while supporting a greater cause.
All profits from each artwork sold in this series are donated to Cancer Council Australia, contributing directly to cancer prevention, research, and vital patient support services.
